Scope

The Senior BIM Modeler is responsible for leading BIM modeling efforts, ensuring quality assurance, training team members, and supporting construction projects through advanced modeling and coordination. This role contributes to project success through technical expertise, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Essential Responsibilities

Senior Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive quality assurance reviews, ensuring adherence to project standards, BIM execution plans, and client requirements.
• Deliver structured training programs for onboarding new team members and cross-functional upskilling, including performance feedback through structured SBI (Situation-Behavior-Impact) methodology.
• Document and disseminate lessons learned, contributing to continuous improvement by maintaining a centralized historical knowledge base.
• Develop, refine, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance across BIM workflows.
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to excellence, consistently producing high-quality, detail-oriented work with minimal oversight.

Active Construction Revit Model Support

• Expert in developing detailed and constructible 3D Revit models for Architectural, Structural, Civil, and Mock-up scopes, including advanced parametric modeling.
• Advanced modeling capabilities across MEPF disciplines, ensuring spatial coordination and constructability within federated models.
• Efficiently manages model updates by integrating RFIs, ASIs, bulletins, and field markups with precision and traceability.
• Leads QA/QC efforts, producing detailed model audit reports, clash summaries, and compliance documentation.
• Creates and maintains advanced Revit content, including project templates, title blocks, and intelligent families with shared and project parameters.
• Collaborates closely with BIM Coordinators and project stakeholders, ensuring alignment with BIM Execution Plans and project goals.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in AEC Industry.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, BIM 360/ACC, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
• Proficient handling complex BIM Projects and providing technical guidance to team members.
• Proficient working with point cloud data, laser scan integration, and stitching is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and field markups.
• Licensed candidates are preferred but not required.
