Job Description

The Project Engineer supports the project management team in successfully executing construction projects by coordinating processes, ensuring requirements are met, and maintaining clear communication with team members, subcontractors, and clients. This role also involves managing project documentation, reviewing contracts, and overseeing procurement and closeout activities.

Job Key Responsibilities

  • Create and Process Request for Information (RFIs)
  • Review and Process Submittals
  • Overlay construction plans and provide description of changes
  • Perform quantity take-offs
  • Create and maintain procurement log
  • Create & Maintain Closeout & Owner Training Log
  • Review subcontractor contracts

Required Skills

  • Must speak, read, and write in fluent English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in reading construction plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Project Management skills
  • Juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet all deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction-related field
  • 2 years minimum work experience in building construction and/or estimating
  • Knowledge with the following software programs is a plus but not required:
    • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
    • Bluebeam
    • Box
    • CMiC
    • Procore
