Job Description
- Prepares and write subcontractor contracts for different construction trades
- Ensure that there are “No Scope” gaps
- Identify conflicts and potential RFIs when reviewing contracts documents
- Provide necessary exhibits and references (providing takeoff/estimates)
- Analyze and evaluate sub-bid analysis from Estimating template
- Collaborate with senior procurement engineers and procurement managers to work on multiple projects
- Work with admin department to assist on processing Prequal and MSA process
- Reaching out to subcontractors for Prequalification and MSA process
- Training of procurement engineer includes a cross training as a cost engineer (this is to familiarize the trainees on reviewing subcontracts and providing references)
Required Skills
- Must speak, read and write fluent English
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Keen attention to detail
- Proficient in reading construction plans, drawings, and specifications
- Project Management skills
- Ability to perform quantity survey (take-offs) and identify different construction materials
- Juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet all deadlines
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction related field
- 3 years minimum combined work experience in building construction and estimating
- Proficient with the following software programs:
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
- BlueBeam
- Box
- CMiC
- PlanGrid
