Job Description

  • Prepares and write subcontractor contracts for different construction trades
    • Ensure that there are “No Scope” gaps
    • Identify conflicts and potential RFIs when reviewing contracts documents
    • Provide necessary exhibits and references (providing takeoff/estimates)
  • Analyze and evaluate sub-bid analysis from Estimating template
  • Collaborate with senior procurement engineers and procurement managers to work on multiple projects
  • Work with admin department to assist on processing Prequal and MSA process
  • Reaching out to subcontractors for Prequalification and MSA process
  • Training of procurement engineer includes a cross training as a cost engineer (this is to familiarize the trainees on reviewing subcontracts and providing references)

Required Skills

  • Must speak, read and write fluent English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in reading construction plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Project Management skills
  • Ability to perform quantity survey (take-offs) and identify different construction materials
  • Juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet all deadlines

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction related field
  • 3 years minimum combined work experience in building construction and estimating
  • Proficient with the following software programs:
    • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
    • BlueBeam
    • Box
    • CMiC
    • PlanGrid
