Junior VDC Engineer

Job Description

The VDC engineer will assist in modeling, rendering, constructability, and other coordination efforts for the VDC department. The VDC engineer will support projects in active and preconstruction status.

Job Responsibilities

  • Modeling, overlays, renderings, animations, and other drafting (as needed)
  • Coordination, including constructability reviews and clash detections
  • Data export, including quantity takeoffs and coordination exhibit generation
  • Clash report issuance and participation during coordination meetings

Required Skills

  • Must speak, read, and write fluent English
  • 3+ years of Revit and Navisworks experience
  • 1+ years of AutoCAD experience
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, specifications, and other construction documents (2 years minimum professional experience)

Minimum Qualifications

  1. 3+ years working in the Architecture/Engineering or Construction field
  2. Able to read construction plans and translate to 3D modeling
  3. Basic understanding of commercial building systems, including structural, architectural, and MEP-LV
  4. Proficient with the following software programs: MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, Bluebeam, and Box
  5. Familiar and/or experience with the following software programs:
    • Revit
    • Navisworks
    • AutoCAD
    • SketchUp
    • ArchiCAD

Work Hours

  • Monday – Friday 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM (includes 1-hr lunch break) Philippine Time
