Job Description
- Manages and prepares all quantities for construction projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction-related field.
- 3 years minimum combined work experience in building construction and estimating.
- Proficient with the following software programs:
- MS Office (Word, Outlook)
- Skype
- On Screen Take-Off (OST)
- Bluebeam
- Box
- Familiar with the Construction Specification Institute (CSI) Master Format
- Familiar with the Uniform Building Code (UBC), International Building Code (IBC), and International Code Council (ICC)
- Familiar with different types of building construction (i.e. Type I; II; III; IV; V)
- Familiar with the different types of estimating format (by Trade; by Division and Systems or Assembly)
- Ability to identify construction trades involved and/or required on a project
- Seeking a long-term career position
Required Skills:
- Must speak, read, and write fluent English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, specifications, and other construction documents.
- Ability to perform quantity survey and identify different construction materials
