Job Description

  • Provide administrative support for projects by running reports, acting as liaison between accounting/contracts and the project team, and performing various accounting and clerical functions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assisting with owner/client payout applications
  • Subcontractor invoicing
  • Subcontractor payment processing
  • Updating information in the company database
  • Calling/emailing vendors for quotes, qualifications, and other information
  • General assistance to the Project Management staff as required.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrable experience in accounting
  • Proficiency in the English language, including effective oral and written communication skills, is a must.
  • Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous, competing priorities relative to overall corporate, client, and project needs and success with limited direction/oversight.
  • Excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • An eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and self-motivated. Must be flexible, willing to learn, and able to develop new procedures as needed.
  • Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Office

Minimum Qualifications

  • Comprehensive understanding of General Ledger accounts, proper project cost coding, and budgets
  • Ability to troubleshoot potential errors in coded invoices, expense statements, and other accounting transactions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to electronically organize and maintain files.
