Job Description
- Provide administrative support for projects by running reports, acting as liaison between accounting/contracts and the project team, and performing various accounting and clerical functions.
Job Responsibilities
- Assisting with owner/client payout applications
- Subcontractor invoicing
- Subcontractor payment processing
- Updating information in the company database
- Calling/emailing vendors for quotes, qualifications, and other information
- General assistance to the Project Management staff as required.
Required Skills
- Demonstrable experience in accounting
- Proficiency in the English language, including effective oral and written communication skills, is a must.
- Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous, competing priorities relative to overall corporate, client, and project needs and success with limited direction/oversight.
- Excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
- An eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and self-motivated. Must be flexible, willing to learn, and able to develop new procedures as needed.
- Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Office
Minimum Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding of General Ledger accounts, proper project cost coding, and budgets
- Ability to troubleshoot potential errors in coded invoices, expense statements, and other accounting transactions.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Ability to electronically organize and maintain files.
