Scope

The Junior BIM Modeler supports the organization’s goals by performing a range of duties in BIM modeling and construction coordination. This role contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the team and may involve cross-functional collaboration.

Essential Responsibilities

Active Construction Revit Model Support

  • Basic ability to create 3D Revit Model for Arch, Struct, Civil.
  • Basic ability to model Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Sprinkler disciplines.
  • Accurately updates design models with RFI and bulletins
  • Basic ability to conduct QAQC report/Model description Report

Construction Essentials and Software

  • General knowledge of the order of building systems and trade flow.
  • Basic understanding of construction documents, terminology, assemblies, etc.
  • General skills in Revit, BIM 360/ACC, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.

  • Demonstrates active participation in internal meetings by engaging in discussions, asking relevant questions, and showing a willingness to contribute to resolving open issues.
  • Supports team collaboration by beginning to apply BIM standards and sharing weekly internal meeting updates with the team, showing growing awareness of project communication needs.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of business operations and workflows.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in AEC Industry.
  • Proficiency with Revit, BIM 360/ACC, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow established BIM Standards.
  • Licensed candidates are preferred but not required.
