Job Description
- Review of plans for all disciplines including Architectural, Civil, MEPFS; review interface between trades
- Performs overlays and identifies changes in plans
- Tracks issues to resolution through tracking log and plan markups
- Identify conflicts and gaps in plans
- Describe conflicts in RFI’s to Ownership and Design Team
- Utilize the Constructability SOP
- Prioritizes issues based on impact to the project and most effective use of Preconstruction Team’s time
- Participate in meetings with Owner and Design Team
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction-related field.
- 3 years minimum construction experience; QC Engineer or Architect
- Understanding of construction terminology, trades, trade sequencing and project types
- Understanding of construction schedules
- Ability to electronically organize and maintain files
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Teams, BlueBeam, Box, Navisworks Manage
Required Skills:
- Must speak, read and write fluent English
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact productively with the team
- Work efficiently – allocate one’s own time efficiently; handle multiple demands and competing priorities
- Proficient in reading and interpreting plans, drawings, specifications and other construction documents
