Job Description

  • Manages and prepares all quantities for all building-related quantities of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction-related field.
  • 3 years minimum combined work experience in building construction and estimating.
  • Proficient with the following software programs:
    • MS Office (Word, Outlook)
    • Skype
    • On Screen Take-Off (OST)
    • Bluebeam
    • Box
  • Familiar with the different types of estimating formats (by Trade; by Division and Systems or Assembly)
  • Ability to identify construction trades involved and/or required on a project
  • Seeking a long-term career position

Required Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, specifications, and other construction documents
  • Ability to perform quantity surveys and identify different construction materials
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
