Jo-ina brings to her role as Estimating Team Lead a varied background in civil engineering. Experience includes design review and checking architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings to ensure compliance; performing inspections; preparing reports and take-offs; involvement in precast shop drawings, quality control, and preparing bid documents; and preparing monthly work plans and progress reports.
Jo-ina believes leadership is about building relationships with your people and making sure that they can grow in their role. “It’s common here in the Philippines that employees resign because they feel they are not growing professionally anymore,” shares Jo-ina. “That is why we provide career development and opportunities for our people.
