Scope

The Junior HR & Payroll Administrator provides support in processing payroll to help ensure employees are paid correctly and on time. Assists with basic human resources tasks such as onboarding new staff and helping with training records. Works under the guidance of senior team members to follow company policies and keep records organized. 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assist in end-to-end payroll processing, including timesheets, deductions, overtime, and statutory payments.
  • Maintain accurate employee records (new hires, leavers, compensation, and HR data updates).
  • Track employee attendance, leave, and absences.  
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including documentation and system updates.  
  • Respond to employee inquiries on payroll, pay slips, and HR policies in a timely, professional manner.  
  • Help prepare payroll reports and support labor cost allocation.  
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, tax requirements, and company policies.  
  • Identify discrepancies and escalate issues when needed.  
  • Collaborate with HR and other teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field 
  • 2+ years of experience in payroll processing and HR administration 
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills 
  • High attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
