Job Description
The Junior Construction Scheduler is to create RFP schedules and update weekly project schedule as assigned by the assistant team lead. This entry-level role is designed to build foundational skills in Primavera P6, document handling, and construction drawing interpretation, construction sequences and terminologies while contributing to the team’s overall productivity and accuracy.
Essential Responsibilities
- Create level 2 or level 3 RFP schedules using available bid documents with oversight from the ATL
- Manage project schedules
- Perform health checks
- Actively engage in weekly schedule meetings
- By asking thought provoking questions
- Bringing up potential issues / constraints found during health checks
- Integrate schedules with project milestones and procurement timelines.
- Monitor progress and update schedules regularly to reflect actual performance and forecast future activities.
- Conduct critical path analysis and identify schedule risks and mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present schedule reports, including look-ahead schedules and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with field teams to ensure schedule adherence and resolve conflicts.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a construction scheduler or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in CPM scheduling software – Primavera P6
- Strong understanding of construction processes, construction terminologies and project management principles.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
